Beware and always keep checking the tariff and kms and timings. They talk like we are fooling them when we question them on tariff and charges. Before driver reached I recd a msg stating kms reading and start time. I had to send them proof of driver arrival time and they charged me for the higher range vehicle when I clearly asked for indica. And they talk like I demanded a dzire. Keep up this good job and let's see how long you last.
Cheaters in town and Pathetic customer service….i am telling driver is cheating on Kms. I think they recruited all the girls in call center are uneducated and they can’t properly explain. I won’t book again henceforth. They on number for complaint which is not working …
I booked a TEMPO TRAVELLER on 09/01/2024, to travel to Tirunelveli on 23/01/2024 and back (that is two weeks in advance). While making the booking, I specified to the Maya Call Taxi executive that I need an air-conditioned vehicle with push back seats as it is going to be long journey and she confirmed the same. She also specified the seating capacity is 14 + driver. When the vehicle arrived on 23rd Jan, I found the seating capacity is only 13+driver. The seat next to the driver was found to be removed. When we started the journey in the morning the weather condition was cool and hence we have not asked for the air-conditioner. On the way we stopped over for breakfast and continued the journey after the breakfast. When I asked the driver to switch ON the AC, he mentioned that the AC is not in working condition. This was not informed to us beforehand. When I called the call centre and complained about the AC, the reply from the excutives was "The driver says that the AC is not in working condition". When I asked for the solution, they do not have a solution and just repeating that the AC is not in working condition. By this time we crossed more than 100 km of journey. As the executives were not helpful, we had to hire an alternative vehicle and send this vehicle back. When we returned the vehicle back, we received a bill for Rs.8652/- for 348 kms, where as we already paid an advance money and diesel cost of Rs. 10,756/-. On 25/01/2024, I sent an email to Maya Call Taxi's official email ID, asking for the break-up details for the bill amount and refund the balance amount. They didn't reply back for my email. After repeated follow-ups via phone, I received the refund of Rs.2084/- on 03rd February only. I wonder how do they send a non AC vehicle for a journey of 1200 kilometeres, when the booking was for an AC vehicle. This incident caused us lot of inconvenience and additional expenditure. The customer service in Maya Call Taxi is very poor and they do not bother about their customers, once the booking amount is paid.
I always prefer Maya taxi only ... they are better in terms of pricing and service ... drivers are also good .. better than local cabs.. only flaw i found is very young age driver is not recommendable bcoz they tend to talk too much with our family and put nose in every matter while driving and look back to us through mirror as ladies felt uncomfortable .. this happens rare .. if this is restricted then Maya call taxi is the best one to ride .. i prefer Maya call taxi.. out of 10 only one time i faced like this ..
Superb and reasonable rates. Booked from Katpadi Railway Station to Vellore hotel near CMC. Its 21/km for ac cabs and 19/km for non ac
