Worst insurance, first they say that we will provide all the claim and then they changes their statement. One of the D/O: Atul Tyagi is not at all recommended. Please never plbuy any policy with him or under him
My father was admitted to Max Hospital due to brain hemorrhage. As guided we provided all the necessary info and documents to Star Health for our settlements with Max Hospital but no help was given by Star Health. Such a waste of money and time it has been with star health, never going back to you guys again.
At the time of need no one from the company responds. I don't know about other insurance companies but Star health and allied insurance company are not doing fair business. There customer support is pathetic and hardly anyone cares about your problem, they don't even respond to the calls. Just saw the reply from star health for my review I am writing this to narrate my another incident with star health insurance. This happened during the lockdown period. My mother was feeling some pain on her neck and head for which we went to one of the empaneled hospital(star health and allied) i.e Kailash Hospital, Dehradun. The general physician prescribed her some medicine for 3 days. After taking the prescribed medicine next day she felt restless so we immediately rushed her to the hospital and as per the prescription of Doctor MRI and few other tests were conducted. The pathalogy lab was quite slow to deliver reports and took 2 days meanwhile representative of Star Health guided us to shift my mother to private ward as per the eligibility of the health insurance policy. On the third day the TPR(third party representative) informed that Star health has rejected our claim request and inspite of having cashless facility at empanelled hospital we had to pay 30k. According to SH&AI the cervical spondylosis is not coverd for first two year of the policy and is covered after 3rd year but I could not find such clause in the policy document. The overall experience with Star Health and Allied insurance is very poor. I would not recommend it to anyone.
